Andrew Garth

Andrew’s career includes senior leadership roles within Defence SMEs, Defence Primes and Commonwealth Government. 

Prior to establishing DI Advisory Services, Andrew was the former General Manager of the Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) and its predecessor the Defence Industry Innovation Centre (DIIC).

During this time Andrew has been extensively involved in developing Australia’s Defence Industry policy environment including the Defence Industry Policy Statement 2016, the Defence Export Strategy and the Defence Industrial Capability Plan.

Through these roles Andrew has developed a sophisticated and in-depth understanding of the areas where Defence SMEs require support and how-to best provision that support to achieve outcomes; for both SMEs and Defence alike.
